Privacy Policy
Warmtone is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how it's stored, and what you can do with your data.
What we collect
Warmtone collects only what is necessary to run the app:
- Apple ID — used via Sign in with Apple to identify your account. Warmtone never receives your Apple ID email unless you choose to share it.
- Username, display name, and bio — entered by you when setting up your profile.
- Photos you choose to upload — stored in iCloud via CloudKit.
- Content you post — captions and comments you write.
- Activity data — likes and follows, stored in CloudKit.
What we do not collect
- Email addresses (Sign in with Apple can hide yours)
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking or advertising
- Behavioural analytics or usage data
- Any data via third-party SDKs or trackers — there are none
How your data is stored
All Warmtone data is stored in Apple CloudKit (iCloud). Warmtone does not operate its own servers or databases. Your data is subject to Apple's iCloud privacy policy.
How to delete your data
You can permanently delete your account from within the app:
- Open Settings → Delete Account
- This permanently removes your profile, all posts, likes, comments, and follows
- This action cannot be undone
Children
Warmtone is not directed at children under 13. The app is rated 12+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new revision date. Continued use of Warmtone after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
